Recommendations for the promotion of digital skills into teacher training curricula
Abstract
This article addresses the critical need to integrate digital skills into teacher training curricula, reflecting rapid global shifts in e.g. digitalization and access to information. It synthesizes insights from the Teaching Digital Thinking Project (TDT) and a working group on digital transformation in Bachelor of Education (BEd) programs, targeting program directors and curriculum developers aiming to embed foundational and emerging digital competencies into teacher education.
